I was raised on a farm during the 1930’s and have sort of followed that activity ever since. Every few years we get some weather conditions that are not ideal for farming and the local media sends out their cub reporters to get a story.
They always find at least one young unlucky or inept young man with cute kids who will loose his farm, that has been in the family for 150 years if it don’t rain soon.
It usually rains and then they are off to cover the flood
